Seeing as you are experiencing high temps, here is a tip to quickly cool your car down when it has been parked in the sun.
1. Open passenger window fully.
2. Open and shut the driver door five times
That is it! It seems to work. Must be something to do with creating movement in the air.

Or head for the hills, that`s what we did today & broke out the picnic on Butser Hill :y
Just about 10 cars in the CP & the place is virtually deserted
Swallows & kestrels flew around us & high overhead I could hear Buzzards calling
Down below the harvest is in full swing, with huge pall`s of dust visible at multiple locations
Around about 5 pm the cooling breeze dropped to virtually nothing & it went quiet & sultry.
A hot air ballon G-CKXR drfted lazily by heading north, the pilot dropped some alitude as he passed over the hill; why do they always look so unsafe to me ???

Went up there one evening last year when there was a massive thunderstorm on the south coast. What a light show!
Car park was surprisingly busy and not sure they were there for the thunderstorm :-X so parked up in a layby up the road to watch the storm just in case. :y

My daughter bought me a balloon trip as a birthday present a few years ago - wonderful! I dislike heights and was quite scared (Marks and Spencer scared!), but after several reschedulings, I was used to the fear and was ok with the flight. When airborne, the silence when the burner was off was amazing; mainly all I could hear was the occasional barking dog.

We watched the sunset & left in the gathering gloom, just as lots of cars were only just arriving; but surely there`s nothing left to see after dark ??? is there.

Its easier than that, login to app, select RES, proceed to car in a few minutes when its nicely chilled. :y

I too am a bit scared of heights. So I was nervous when we booked a balloon trip over the west bank of the Nile at Luxor (so over Hatshepsut temple, and high enough to see the Valley of the Kings and Valley of the Queens, and of course the Nile). But it was epic, watching the sun rise from a balloon, seeing the shadows form and shorten.

Magic, isn't it TB? I didn't feel that it was high at all: well, just a bit, and as I said before, SOO quiet. :) 8) :y

Very nice! My balloon trips around Bristol were over the Severn and surrounding areas, and, like Bigron say, magic and sooooo quiet!! I could be "up there" all the time, and over Egypt...........bring it on!! 8) 8) 8) :-* :-* :y

I may well know the pilot of your balloon Ron. If its who I think it is, he is reputed to be a good balloon pilot, but probably the worst driver of cars and trucks I have ever seen. ::) :o ;D
