Title: Greatest test match I've ever watched
Post by: STEMO on 25 August 2019, 16:30:22
I know you gents, and I use the word loosely  ;D, are not really into cricket, but no one could fail to be moved by the way England have just beaten Australia. They went from no hope of winning to a bit of a chance to evens to winners. Ben Stokes was at the crease for six hours in this heat. What a game.

Just been on the wiki page to try to get the full England team and some wag has edited the opening paragraph to read:

The 2019 Ashes Series (officially the Specsavers Ashes Series for sponsorship reasons[1]) is a series of Test cricket matches being played between [Ben Stokes] and Australia for The Ashes.

 ;D ;D ;D

Opti,MotoGP highlights are usually shown on Channel 5 but according to the telly paper I have they're not doing so this week.Other than that BT Sport show all the races live and they're also repeating the main race on that channel this week.

Try Quest. Watched it earlier, repeated now, so will be on Quest+1 shortly. Very good

If you get the Quest OD App, you can watch it at your leisure. :y

Yep......watched it on Quest and what a great race it was. :y

Initially I thought Rossi may be in with a shout before the old boy started to fade. It looked like the joke was on the joker with Rins nipping past at the death. :y

Moto GP is so much more exciting than F1 especially when a juicy crash or two are added to the mix, as with this race.  :)

The Rins / Marquez overtake on the last corner, was very similar to Sheene Roberts in 79.

I remember 'Bazza' gave King Kenny a two-fingered salute in that race. ;D

Let's face it.......Bike racing is far more exciting than cricket. I suppose old people like STMO  might find cricket more interesting though. :)

Watching his whippet take a dump is the highlight of his day. :)
