Title: F1 Spolier
Post by: Rods2 on 29 September 2019, 23:26:14
Yet again, cheating Vettel showing he has no class & karma can certainly be a bitch when it bites straight back. ;D ;D ;D Where he stopped so VSC was deployed it gave Mercedes a free pitstop & a race win and second.

Where Vettel is the error strewn past, Charles LeClerc is showing he is their future number one. Will Vettel be dumped at the end of the season or when his contract runs out at the end of 2020? ::)

I would say his days are definitely numbered. Wouldn't be surprised if he decides to retire at the end of the year. Ferrari wouldn't allow him to pit for tyres after he defied team orders and made him stay out until they knew Leclerc would take the lead from him again.
That signals that  his days of being a significant part of their plans ore over imo;
The bloke has no class imo, and its starting to bite him on the arse at long last.

Ferrari snatched defeat from the jaws of victory!

Nonetheless it was good to see Vettels driving instructor on the podium

Im old enough to remember Ferrari sacking Rene Arnoux for defying team orders in the 80,s. I wonder if Vettel is aware of that.

Mark Webber said the other week that 'drivers never get faster as they age'. Vettel will be aware of this so needs to stack the cards in his favour. :)

Questions for the French fan.

Did Vettel blow his engine up trying to keep ahead of his driving instructor?

Did Ferrari then turn down Leclercs engine to at least finish?

Anything is possible, but it seemed like it was the electickery part of the drive train that went pop, as Vettel said "f**king bring back the V12,s before he climbed out of the car. The only sensible thing Ive ever heard him say.

I suppose he is starting to feel inadequate.

He is significantly slower week after week than some french kid who isn't even old enough to shave properly. He and his 'teammate' are moving in different directions. One moving up, the other moving down.

Four world titles and more than 50 race wins  is impressive though.
