Post by: STEMO on 26 October 2019, 17:55:37
Don't forget to put your clocks back tonight, don't want you being late/early for breakfast in the care home.

I'd rather be six feet under than sitting in a circle listening to Max Bygraves with a load of incontinent coffin dodgers.

2am tomorrow, so it will have happened before you wake up. That's if you ever do wake up properly, Dave.  ;D
Or any of you senile old fools.  ;D

Don't forget now.

All my clocks except the one in the bathroom use the rugby time signal and sort themselves out. I think STEMO's has to manually adjust his one clock and that only tells the time during daylight hours when the sun is shining. He has been thinking about stealing getting one of newfangled clockwork ones, but he doesn't trust such modern 16th century technology and will leave it for another century or two until it has matured. :P ::)

Several of my digital clocks are also in/out door weather stations with a radio link from an outside module with this evening currently showing a cold 0.5degC 87% humidity, with a warm 20.1degC 52% humidity in my study/office.

Clocks and time move more slowly  with speed. The clocks on the ISS measure time more slowly than those down on Earth.

Travel at very close to the speed of light and time almost stops completely.

Time travel to the future is science fact rather than science fiction.

All we need is more speed. :)

70% of light speed will make a big dent in time travel to the future. :)

I've discovered that the milk float shows the time from my phone on the entertainment screen when that's plugged in, but the car's own clock on the instrument binnacle. This confused me more than it should have this morning.  ::)

Welcome to my world.  Apparently, according to the Jag forums, its petty to suggest this is a step backwards, as apparently the dealer can set it for you.

I'd adjust the time on mine, but it needs some more electricity first...

I discovered yesterday that my ML's clock was set to German time & manual set ..... it's now set to UK time zone & auto update.

I'll let you know in Spring if it auto sets to BST  ::)

As could the RDS radio, or the DAB radio, or the cellular module, or the GPS receiver, with just a couple of extra lines of code. ::)
