No Omega.... :(
-
No mention of the Vauxhall Omega then...see MK2 Cavalier got a mention though
-
I'm guessing the mighty Signum is in the top ten. :)

I'd be happy if some kind benevolent soul gifted me number 17. :)
-
18 wouldn't be the worst Christmas gift either.

from the list
Reliant Scimitar ,
cav SRi 130 ,
vx220 (lotus elese)
original mini 1275 GT
the rest I'd scrap or sell
Carlton/omega A was European car of the year 1987
-
41% are British. :y
There's a glaring omission though... :-\ ::)

Surely you mean the original Mini Cooper S. The 1275 GT was a detuned minger. :)

Some really iconic cars there, glad to see I've owned several listed, good to see the old Mercedes amongst them..😎

mine wasn't ,had it on 2 wheels many times ,helped having a friend who "worked" for BL for parts ;D
-
Just as well you never had the Cooper S then!
-
Whoever compiled that list obviously knows very little about cars !
-
Depends I suppose on what criteria is used to decide what is "Best",however as it won't let me see the list I can't say which-if any-I agree with.

i'm still alive :)
had a triumph dolly sprint 16valve after the 1275 GT mini
I'm still alive :o
insurance was crippling and it rotted apart/failed MOT before I had chance to kill myself ;D
then I moved on to rusty vauxhalls ::)

To be fair, it's a list of 100 most culturally significant cars, not the 'best'... ;)
The 2CV is a notable absence, also has a very European take as things like the El Camino, Chevy Bel Air, Holden Ute and Ford V8 flat head...
-
There's a 2CV! :y
No 16. 8)
-
There's a Jensen Interceptor but no FF ..... ???
They showed a DS but a later 21/23 and not the early 19 which was far 'prettier'

Note to self: skim read properly ::)
