Why do smoke alarm low battery alarms only work at 3am,why ?

They are programed to China time :) check the time in China.

Yep, and they are programmed to watch your every move, plus when "the time" comes, Chinese masters will turn them all off as our houses burn! :o :o :o ;D ;D ;D ;D ;)
