Title: Fireworks...
Post by: TheBoy on 01 January 2020, 19:19:03
...now I accept that some cretins insist of waking me at midnight on New Years Eve with their pathetic little poppers.

But WTF are the cretins setting them off now?  That will be more shit to clean off the cars in the morning, plus its stressing one of the cats :(

Pah!!
Last night from 11.30 till about 12.30, the park next to ours was like a continuous artillery barrage.

Once I'm asleep they could set them off in my bedroom and I'd never notice!

I'm getting a bit bored with not getting enough sleep at night :(

Somebody is gonna have a Black Mamba up their arse if it happens again tonight.

Should be banned completely for the normal Man in the street & be only available for organised displays and only at certain times to be used.

I tend to agree with this. Altough I have an inbuilt aversion to rules / regs/ state control of peoples lives, the alternative is to be allowed to find the morons and stick bangers up their arse.
That will never be allowed, so a ban on cretins having access to them is the sensible solution.

Have you tried those "anti snoring pillows"
not sure how they work....
I assume you hold the pillow over their face till the snoring stops  :-\

My wife says I snore sometimes. She has a way of stopping it annoying her, she's there when I go to sleep and she's not there when I wake up. Spare room.

Unfortunately  :( .... my daughter came back home a few weeks back along with another room full of 'stuff' from when she was living with her ex-boyfriend and the other bedroom has my grand daughter's small bed in it along with other 'stuff'  ??? I'm seriously thinking of sleeping in the caravan  ;D ;D

When we moved in we decided to use the bedroom at the front of the house for us. Son's room was on the top floor. That left two spare, a single and a double. We got the front bedroom how we wanted it and used it, but I didn't like it. Street lights, traffic, shouty people coming home from the club occasionally. So we moved into the back bedroom and did that one up too. So two fully kitted out double bedrooms to use.
Don't tell the wife but, as I get older and, shall we say, more practical, I'm going to suggest that she would be much more comfortable if she had a whole bedroom to herself. The front one. 🙂

Since SWMBOs health issues started to get a bigger problem, (the circulation being the biggest one now), we have found that having separate rooms works quite well. Saves arguing about what the temperature of the room should be, at least.  ;D

I just turn the boiler stat to zero as I go up the stairs. No argument.
