Coolent warning sign on needle going up to 100 then going back down then going back up sign flashing on and off checked coolent and level normal oil fine as well and no signs of leak had new ecu fitted few days before this happened any ideas what's went wrong
-
Why on earth did you fit a new ecu?
-
Car was struggling on cold start and code showed fault in ecu
-
Was probably the ecu temperature sender :-X
Current fault could be an issue with the gauge sender/plug as that would cause the gauge to spike and trigger a temperature warning...
Does the thermostat behave as expected? Aircon and cooling system otherwise behaving itself :-\
-
Yeh they fine just needle going up and warning sign on and off and no signs of leak and levels fine
-
Just worried am causing damage but garage that worked on car and fitted ecu no longer trading
