Hi Omega owners anyone bidding or been to check out the Omega Elite on Ebay seems to be creating quite a bit of interest and is up to 2k+ so far.
-
Decent condition and very low miles, so Im not surprised the bidding is going pretty high. Low miles seems to be the most important factor when selling an old car. I don't necessarily agree with it, but that's the way it is.

These sellers think that if they use a name like 'Gayle and David' they'll sound all respectable like. Gayle and David wouldn't con us, would they? Not fickin much ;D
-
There's probably some truth in that too!Add a female name and all is good, after all a woman wouldn't be a shyster/liar/con artist surely? :D
-
Don’t take the bait Dave ;D :y

Probably wouldn't even be a woman. ;D
-
Well of course I’ll second you on the builder part, and my names not Dave and my wife’s name is not Gayle I don’t think :D however would you like to make a medium investment in cheap China holidays?
-
WTF! £2,800, with 6 seconds to go, for an Omega complete with MOT corrosion advisories on the front chassis legs.
Just because it's not star silver maybe?
I really don't find the high bidding credible.
And even if the bidding is legit, I doubt that anybody will be happy when they look underneath.
-
Many people don't think about what a car is like underneath, or check the MOT history
if it's shiny and polished on the bits they can see and has a long MOT then it must be good ::)
what many people don't know is and MOT pass just means it reached minimum standards
many important things on a car are NOT even checked at MOT ,clutch, gearbox, blowing head gasket, etc etc
-
If it is relisted son, then we will know the bidding wasn't genuine. It happens very regularly on ebay.
-
In Germany it would have catched at least £1000 more.
Low milage 3.2L V6 is sought after among the Omega crowd.
