The hitchikers guide to the galaxy first broadcast on March 8th 1978, the TV series in 1981. Douglas Adams died about 20 years ago

I was a teenager when it came out and quite enjoyed it - probably best to stick with the memory rather than revisit it then :-\

Never watched it , The Sweeney & Minder was more my taste back then.

a group of us used to listen to it at lunchtime , back in the late 70's, at work on cassette. ( a sort of recording medium with moving parts). I still have a full set somewhere. Will be worth absolutely nothing so why am I keeping them?
