Doesnt run but GOT to be worth that for breaking, find out more about the LPG kit, and if the stereo system works then there's your money (alloys should get you over £100 too)

About 2 years ago we had a similar car with the same problem. It spent 3 weeks at the Main VX dealer, Bristol Street Newcastle, and could not be fixed. Tried all the usual sensors, a donor ecu with key, spent money on an electrical specialist, throttle body, etc etc. Car still would not run. If a motor dealer is selling as a non runner it will probably mean that he has tried everything to get it running and failed. Of course some of the very knowledgeable people on here may be willing to try, but be prepared for the worst and how much you could break it for. I posted last week about a 2001 2.2cd ( no lpg ) at auction which couldn't get a bid of £1000 and it was running perfectly with 47k miles, I wouldn't want to pay more than £500 for a non-runner.
