Has anyone tried these recently? Seen some posts from a few years ago saying they were poor and springs to soft but just wondering if they have modified them to suit better yet?
Being the only cheaper coilover option out there I might just bite the bullet and give them a try, can't justify spending the 1k plus that kw ones are up for as I only use my Omega at weekends.

I've not had the TA Technix before, but I have bought from the cheaper end of the coilover range. From the research I did, the people complaining they were crap, were the same idiots that removed the helper springs as the lowest setting still allowed them to scrape over a white line in the road. I ran mine mainly at standard ride height, but also at -20mm, I didn't try lower, because I'm in that stupid stance scene.
I have to say, replacing 10-15 year old suspension with even cheap new coilovers, you should notice a big difference in handling, well I certainly did.

Given the OPs location, I'm guessing he isn't interested in ride quality, it just needs to have lumps of concrete for springs, so the rear tyres can be wasted in a few minutes at the local drift track.

;D where not all like that over here but your not wrong haha, be lucky if a set of tyres lasts 1 outing, I do use my car for travelling to work sometimes so a bit of comfort would be nice, previous owner cut the springs but mot coming up soon so coilovers it is.
