Is there any way of finding out the paint code with out the vin plate?
I have a astra H and want to order some paint but cant without the code. I know i could probably get it from the dealer but they're closed.

I'm assuming that the stick on B Pillar Vin Plate is missing but isn't there another one showing the paint code on the slam panel when the bonnet is open. :-\

Nope.
Only sticker anywhere on the car is the aircon info sticker on the slam panel .

IF you can find a really good body repair job open, go and ask them to identify the exact paint code.
I have known real specialists before in paint shops that have the gift to match colours perfectly as part of their skill set ;)
The other way is to go to a local Vx main dealer and ask their parts department to look up the build history of your vehicle, including the official colour :)

That's what i thought the answer would be. Was hoping there might have been another way as the local dealer is shut and so it seems are most of the paint/body shops.
Oh well it will just have to wait, just hoping to get it done whilst its quiet.

Having done a quick google search you could be right. Its only for the sills so might just order a can and hope for the best..

Nope I've still got my rare silver mv6 and it's definitely not the same. ::) Shame because if it was I'd know what paint to get.
