Title: 2002 Omega 2.2 CD Saloon Front Suspension OM part no.’s
Post by: Malt_Whiskey on 22 April 2020, 19:56:38
Hi

I am trying to buy a set of front shocks, top bushes and springs for my 52 plate Omega 2.2 CD saloon and struggling to find the correct parts even with the VIN number. Does anyone have the original part OM number?

Thanks

For a 2.2 the OEM different shox should be (according to https://vauxhall.7zap.com/en/car/v94/k/0/6-2/#5)
Right hand Shock = 9127826 (72119077) ident R9
Left Hand Shock = 9127825  (72119076) ident L9

And the springs should be (according to https://vauxhall.7zap.com/en/car/v94/k/0/5-13/)
Spring Set = 90540870

Good luck getting that lot!

Cross reference the part numbers and buy Sachs shocks. These are the genuine OE fitment (without the GM labels)  :y

Kilen HD springs work well ime, just make sure that they are four cylinder petrol ones rather than diesel/v6.

Front suspension is otherwise identical regardless of body style ;)
