Anybody know if the corsa fuel pump / injection relay will fit 3.2 mv6. Their the same colour ;D ;D car is playing up struggling to start and random misfire when going along.
-
It could be that one of your dis packs has caught the corona virus Rae! :D
Or that they're drowning in oil 'cos your cam cover gaskets are leaking... :(
-
No oil there Steve, James done em👍 Dis packs are only a year old too, I suspect fuel problem the way it’s acting it’s more of a stumble than a definitive misfire
-
Blocked fuel filter possibly, relay either works or doesn't so wouldnt suspect that, if in doubt bridge it feed the pump continuous to see if it helps
-
Check if the numbers on top of the relay match, or just plug it in and see what happens.

That's good. :y I hated changing cam cover gaskets! ::)

Think it’s 30 and 87 going out to try now👀

Check codes and report back.
Use pedal trick if you have two working feet ;)
-
Relay is almost certainly the same.
It won't cause a misfire though.
Check the entire ignition system first, then the intake for air leaks. If those are all OK, measure the fuel pressure. THEN you start on the injectors and their wiring.
-
Tried the corsa relays they don’t work they are different. Bridged original relays no difference put it back to normal took it for a spin and it’s flying and tick over is perfect. Wonder if I’ve moved something around when I was fu(ing about with it and now it’s ok again, doubt it will last though. Running terrible on LPG then when I switch back on petrol it terrible too but switch it off start again and it’s ok, I have a two second flash on the lpg light which I will investigate. As for the pedal trick what do I do for that then? MV6 3.2. 2003

Really? There's a guide ::)
-
Ok I’ll search it now :y

EML should be on. If it isn't, replace the bulb and report back :y
-
Was on yesterday gone off now would that cause all this crap then?
-
Ok that saves having to change the bulb then :D
To answer your question, probably.
Chuck a can of Wynns fuel treatment topped off with a tank of V Power , rag the balls off it and report back ;)

I can assure you the car gets plenty of exercise, and to be honest it does seem to have started after I give it a fair old outing on thursday💀 and I treated it with some redex injector cleaner a fortnight ago👍 And I only ever use she’ll V power in all my fleet
-
In that case, it may simply be a bit too much exercise after a bit too much sitting around...
