Certainly they fit no problem and the quality looks excellent, as good as the Vx ones if not better!

Time will tell once fitted though and make sure they are fitted correctly with the front bush bolt tightened with the car on the deck (eh LooKnee!)

Have nothing yet, wasnt really planning on it to be honest, but if there is time / space / inclination wouldnt mind learning the job.

I could go for rear suspension bushes if the tool is available and I'm feeling left out drinking while everyone else is working on cars.  Put me low on the list though, not a high priority item.

unfortunately, it does sound like the passenger side exhaust gasket is going/gone, ticking noise coming from that side (but only hear it when the stereos turned off ;D).

so what bits do I need to bring apart from the gasket, part numbers would be handy aswell :y....and will there be enough tools?

Whilst it is a quick and dirty way to get the camber closer, it is no replacement for getting geometry done properly  :-/

I disagree on the camber setting

So far, its got every car I have done to within 5% of ideal! (confirmed by placing the vehicles on a proper setup at a later date)

What I cant do is get the tracking right!

And, its better to do it this way than leave it as it is

Sorry, I probably didn't make myself clear enough. The spirit level can get it almost bang on (assuming entirely flat surface for car), but this + tracking is no substitute for a proper geometry check/adjust.

Resetting the camber with a spirit level, if its way off, will help reduce the cronic wear on the shoulders though.

The Meega had a propper geo set up at the VX dealers, I recall Mark seeing the print out and saying that the camber was incorrect and the adjustment need only be tweeked to correct it... happy to go with that :)

As you say, I need an even surface.... Mmmmmmmmmmm!  Newent!

I know, infront of the Fire Station doors ;D ;D ;D ;D

Ah, right, that should be fine then :y.  How much else of the geometry did they say was 'near enough' rather than 'right'?

As it's probably NOT the place to do an ATF and filter change ....  :( all I'm after is "someone who knows" to show me what this "claying" is all about ... I've bought a kit .... :y and some advice on what to do about the paint around the sunroof .. :)

More than willing to bring extra tools and cam kit  if that will help anyone.

Remember that it needs to be clean before you clay it.

You will also need a paint treatment (Auto Glym Super Resin is ok) before applying any protective wax coat.
