Wouldnt know where to start, but it could be useful tomorow morning if my sketch from google maps lets me down.
Any info, in very simple terms would be useful thanks. :y
Otherwise I will use the Omega satnav as a backup but its quite a few years out of date. :)

Download 'Waze'. Free and tells you where the naughty police officers are.

The A140 is a straight line through Norwich to Cromer.
Even your sense of direction should be fine... Just make sure you join it with the sun behind you :D
-
I have google maps on my iPhone which work as a satnav if required. :y

Actually, I have recently changed from payg to a contract with data. So, thus far have nver used interweb on the phone when not at home or at work. Dont even know if or how thats supposed to work. If that isnt automatic via witchcraft, Im fooked before I start. ::) ;D
Think I might just use the Omega Nav and my fuzzy memory. What could go wrong ? :-X

as above .. download & use WAZE :y
-
Ok done that. Sat in my front room trying to play with it but it says no GPS signal. :-\ ::)
-
Stop when you get to the sea :y
-
Why, I likes the sea you see. :)
It told me to go outdoors to get a GPS signal ,so I did but there was still no signal. Cant beat a good Atlas tucked in the back of the seat. ::)

wifi and mobile data are on. Roaming is on (dont know of it should be ?) personal hotspot is off.
I suspect I may have had to go far enough from the house for it to lose the wifi signal and then data takes over ? :-\

Omegas had built in Sat Nav ? I never knew that.
-
Or type the road name/post code in the search bar then press directions/take me there...
Or is that too easy/sensible :D

If I have a GPS signal it should be easy enough - I hope. :D
-
Used the old Omega satnav to get there without any problems, and used Waze on my phone on the way back also without problems.
-
Surely you didn't need a satnav to get back. :o ;)
-
Not really no. Just thought I would test out Waze as I only downloaded it last night. :y

I would use HERE MAPS, they provide nearly all of the maps for sat navs.

Apart from the annoying female American voice giving distances in metres.
