Hi
My V6 is spitting water out of the exhaust. Car seems to run normally. Could this be the beginning of head gasket failure or perhaps oil cooler?
I can't see any sludge/mayo in oil on filler cap or in coolant bottle, however I have not changed the oil so can't be 100% sure.
Any ideas gratefully appreciated.
Cheers.

Could be perfectly normal. Has the coolant level dropped ?

Water is a side effect of burning hydrocarbons.
Unless it's over heating or you're having to top up the coolant every time you use the car, then I wouldn't worry too much. Even brand new cars have water dripping from the exhaust when first started.
Get the car up to temperature so that the exhaust is hot when you switch it off, that way any moisture will quickly evaporate from the exhaust rather than rusting it out from the inside... Another reason short journeys are a bad idea :y
