I use GM pink long life antifreeze any ideas on what long life means?

Though you'd be radio rental to leave in for 5 yrs, in the same way you'd be mad to leave the blue stuff in for 2....

Apparently Volvo used to claim their coolant was "for life" and there's at least one person on the Volvo forum who claims[and is proud of the fact]that their '80s Volvo 360 is still running on its original coolant.

Clearly never been dealer serviced then as their schedule is pretty intensive :-\
