Apologies in advance but I have to correct you on HAGGIS :y......As haggis are the size of a largish chicken, and whilst they have four legs, two of the legs on the left hand side are smaller than the ones on the right hands sides. HAGGIS ARE CLEVER, THEY HAVE EVOLVED. The smaller legs on the left hand side helps them run round the mountains/hills quicker, which makes catching them harder. the benefits when you catch then is that if you have 2 kids in your family you can have a leg each :y ;D ;D or 4 to yerself if yer single :y

Mick, I have to correct you on your description of the haggis. You are referring of course to the highland species, the lowland Haggis runs round hills in the opposite direction so it has shorter right legs  ;)

Cheers, Jim  :)

Nice with chips and gravy, pity the chippys north of the border don't do gravy though.

Never had to look for a chippy in Carlisle. I always used to eat at the BP then kip on the auction carpark.

Have we hijacked another thread?  I live 3 miles from that BP and get my loopyjuice (BP ultimate) from there far too regularly.
