Post by: jimjimanta on 02 July 2020, 08:04:59
i have a opel omega omega 1998 model , with the x20xev .
the motor is broken . i want to change engine .
I want to put the block of Y22XE .
the electrical circuit will remain the same.
will it work properly?

in the past, i had put a block of x18xe  and it worked normally.

Yes as long as it's not the direct injection 2.2 as fitted to the Vectra C  :y

Y22XE only the block.
the whole electrical system will be from x20xev .
both motors are made of omega b and c
