Title: Still Trading
Post by: tooleater on 02 July 2020, 16:48:47
Hi Guys, does anyone know if this company is still trading. Rang numerous times no answer.  Sent emails, which come back as failed. Does anyone have their contact details, I'm in Watford I believe they are based in Kidderminster, I just need find out do they stock the parts. Taking a chance and driving up there could be a waste of time.

Thanks

What does street view tell you about the address?

Think they went a far time ago..tried ordering stuff last year and never got any response .As DG suggested I did google on address and its was little more than a shed down a lane..looked like part of a run of private garages  >:(

Thanks for the info Guys, to be honest I didn't go by street view DG, I assumed it was a business. Anyway that rules that out. Think I ll put back to Serek to source the Febi/Delphi fan switches. I'm gonna go have a look at one locally in GSF tomorrow, no idea what make it is.
Cheers :y

Lots of ebay sellers seem to have been dormant or at best semi-active during the lock-down. Some have withdrawn all of their listings. They're probably only now waking up. So it might be some time before normal service resumes.

The particular seller you linked to has a 100% reputation in the last 12 months and has been active in the last month, so I would have thought you'll get what you ordered.

A lot of these parts suppliers are handling agents for some other organisation. Especially when it comes to obsolete car parts. So being a business doesn't necessarily mean there's a big warehouse you can do a click and collect from. It could be just a home office.

If you're looking for the radiator thermostatic fan switches then I would have thought that they are widely available. Try your local motor factor.

Have you tested the fans? There's a forum guide.

Those switches can be had for around £10 new. And are easily available. I don't know why you'd want to use 2nd hand ones. Not worth the effort.

Nope, not ones I've been told to get. All fans are running but noticed after checking relays all 3 kick in, b4 this only 2 front auxiliary would come on, at sometimes around 98 but has been going 105 deg recently. With main fan coming in now with the other 2 at 105 deg, also although now working it's definitely not full speed..
