Warboys will be Gladwins...very good but normaly very expensive.

Well really its just one corner that had a scrape but its a funny odd bluey grey colour so hard too match just spraying one corner.

Cost me 100 euro ( £80 ) just over a year ago to have an estate spoiler painted. It went from maroon to champagne .
I thought it was a bit expensive but it is a 1st class finish and colour match .He quite fairly said he doesn't work part hours so 1 to prep and prime and 1 to top coat and lacquer. factor in the cost of paint etc and it's reasonable.
What's that saying "quality remains long after the price is forgotton"

I did my one myself recently. Went from green to silver. Gave my local Auto factors the paint code and they made up a can of spray paint for me. I primed, painted and lacquered it and was very happy with the result. Cost about 25 quid all in.

I think Don hit the nail on the head. I would want to be paying around £50-60 to have it professionally fitted and painted. It's definately worth having it done properly.

I thought it was worth a go myself because even if I messed it up, I could just sand it down and send it off to get it professionally done.  I was quoted 90 quid for a proper job.

The most time consuming part for re-paint is sanding the old layer which also is a nightmare for painters..Most of them choose to sand it just enough for the new layers to stick..

But in reality it must be sanded until the base coat become visible..

So its your decision , if you have time and enough power in your arms sand it first with 320 grid (wet sanding) and when you start to see the base coat (everywhere) continue with 1200 grid (again wet sanding) to make the surface more smooth (dont sand the base coat completely)..When the surface become perfect its ready for the paint ..Now its no more than hour job for paint..Also this will reduce your cost..
