The title says it all, I thought this Youtube link (https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=377&v=rILyBg7ZjeI&feature=emb_logo) was interesting.

The difference between the sidewalls is particularly interesting, and I suspect is due to the camber change of the strut suspension.

Mercedes front suspension is a bit unusual in this regard... Single pivot on the upper arm and two lower arms each with an outer ball joint at the hub mounting. The roll bar on tends to connect to the rear lower arm rather than the vertical.

Makes for some interesting wheel angles as you approach full lock :o
