Title: Beeb chairman
Post by: Shackeng on 10 August 2020, 07:56:55
Andrew Neil is apparently shortlisted, that should frighten the Guardian reading snowflakes. I suspect they will revolt if it happens, but I would love to see him take over.  :y

That would be great if it happens. I still think the whole edifice is well past its sell by date and should be moved to a subscription service.
If it is indeed the best broadcaster in the world, as its supporters cliam, it should have nothing to fear from this.

If they had an ounce of commercial sense at the BBC they could have launched an international streaming service for live TV and the huge back catalogue on the i-player, and made shed loads of cash Netflix stylee!  ::)

The BBC is perhaps more relevant to the Commonwealth/former colonies than here, which is why they think it's ok to scrap the free tellybox licence for the over 75s...

An intelligent centre right Chairman with a set of balls could be just the thing to counter the woke, sjw Marxist bullshit agenda that seems to have taken over :y
