Just thought I'd say hi folks.

I've just bought myself an Omega. 2.0 CD.
It must be about the earliest ones regd at the time.
Bit of a project but hey, it's 26 years old. May 1994 reg.
Colour, wiggle stick and age is what attracted me to it..

Not sure if I've made best move but I'm gonna get it as sweet as I can.
You might have spotted it on ebay..?
Think it's Rioja red?
I'd add a pic but I can't see the attachment symbol.
I might need to pic brains with few things.

I wasn't sure how many L plates there's left but gotta be worth saving for heratige at least?

Indeed, must be Very rare , my Last Carlton was on an L plate
have you checked it over for the dreaded tin worm yet ?

Not properly no but it looks like rear of inner sills need doing.
Arches at rear aren't too bad though. Just at the bottom.
I'll take it for mot on Thursday, it's been sat for three years yet no advisory on corrosion at last one...
See how it fares. Only done 79k

I honestly don't remember seeing an L reg one, even back in the day.

Might be interesting to look up your Vin number (I don't know where you can do this as I type) to see where in production it was.

I don't recall seeing one either which appealed to me.
When I get the log book I'll see..
Its off for Mot tomorrow so we'll see the news is good or bad...
