Well a couple months after fitting them I finally got round to wiring them up yesterday! ::)
Work a treat, although a little slow to kick in for my liking & a little bit too loud.
Will have to see if I can find a way of quieting it down.
Also beeps once when you put it in reverse, so being an auto it beeps every time I put into drive. >:(

Parking sensors should be made a legal requirement for women drivers ,for obvious reasons. :y

I can beat even the best man at parking at anytime! :o :o :o ::)
But why bother with a sensor anyway when you can always feel if you have gone too far back!! 8-) 8-) :D ;)

Saw a woman practice that technique today in Sainsburys carpark. :D ;D She was in a Mazda, the car she hit was a Rover 25. ;)

Isn't that the "other" reason for having a "shin breaker" ? ;D ;D ;D

I have them fitted on the front of the Citroen as well as the rear. :-[
Don't use the front ones much now though :y

Thank god the woman in the Mazda didn't have one fitted. ::) Bit of a impact but no damage. :o

I had parking sensors on my Mondeo. The noise was horrendous when you got within a metre of anything. I ended up completely ignoring the bloody thing and trusting my judgement. :( :(
I always stop when I bump into something :)

my sensors are doing my head in. put it in reverse and just get the constant flat line beep. tried cleaning them with alsorts but still doing it. mite have to disconect them.

sorry to hitch on this, but am looking for an advice: what sort of relay works as a timer (5min, 10... doesn't matter). Want to use a relay to switch all sensors (front and rear) when I engage reverse (manual)
