Has anyone used 102 ron BP petrol as yet. I recall hearing about it last year but not much since.
Not anywhere around here has it.
-
Seem to recall it's over 2 quid a litre - I won't be filling up anytime soon!!!

:o :o
what is it - jet fuel?

Unless you've got a seriously lairy engine it wouldn't be worth it. Especially at the £2.42 a litre it was originally rumoured to be launched at.
Then consider the fact that very few people would buy it at that price, so those retailers who did stock it for road use would have stale stocks. The additives that stabilise the fuel evaporate off after a while, reducing the octane rating.
I would imagine that the only place you could buy the stuff reasonably fresh would be at a track, TBH.
If I were using it on track I'd probably be more inclined to remove the cats and fill up with AVGAS.

Posh and expensive. Is this stuff the modern day equivalent of the old 5 star leaded we used to have for performance cars.
-
would only use it in a highly tuned turbo/supercharged car :y

Must say the 97 RON from BP Ultimate good stuff :y

Yeah, I chucked some 102 in the MV6 a while ago. Went better, but not worth the cost.
