Just changing the rear donuts and I am not sure about the Torque figures for the 18mm centre bolt and the 3 off 15mm that secure the triangular plate.
Haynes is rather annoying as it explains the procedure fair enough but the torque settings refer to other named components which I presume must be the ones I need.
Am I right in thinking that the 18mm is 90NM +30Deg+15Deg and the 15mm are something like 64NM
If someone can please confirm that I.m reading the right figures I'd be much obliged.

I've never bothered with a torque wrench on them; buzz them in with an impact, back off slightly and tweak with a normal 1/2" ratchet.
You're going to be using the centre bolt to pull the assembly together, which is the reason for owning the impact :y

Yeh, that's how I got my poly's in :y

I've only ever fitted standard rubber ones, which are probably a tighter fit.

Just had a quick toot on here, and the figure quoted is 65 NM / 40 ft lb for ALL 4 bolts (each side) - no mention of angle tightening. I'm sure you can find confirmation or otherwise of these figures with a bit of Googling if Mr Haynes doesn't quote it.

Haynes does indeed give them...
Damping block to body ie the plate 65NM
Damping block to subframe 90NM +30+15 :y

Yes, that was it- damping block. What the hell is that!
Presumably the donuts, but they don't call them the damping block in the procedure section.
I'll feed back on the results, hopefully tomorrow. The Donuts are shredded, so I am hoping the new ones will improve the dodgy rear end.
The ones I've removed are stamped GM and I suspect will be the originals. I'm hoping there will be a bit of an improvement!
