Please.
314mm Discs and Pads (FRONT) (Vauxhall Fitment for Vec C 3.2 and Signum 2.8, Saab 9-3 2.8 )
I've just got a great deal on a pair of callipers for my DE 9-5. They are direct fit, but I will need the slightly larger discs and corresponding pads.
My local Saab parts supplier wants £147+VAT per Disc and £78+VAT for Pads. :o
Wondered if anyone has any links for Vauxhall product or any suggestions as a better alternative? I don't mind spending serious money if it's beneficial.
Not really interested in Track style products, more fast road use.
Many Thanks.

Have a look at the Brembo retail website thingy...
That will give you the part number for more indepth rummaging :y

Thanks DG. I think I've got the Discs alright, as there is only two options (One coated, and the other not).
Coming up with 3 different Pad options though. :-\
I have the Reg Number of the breaker car DA07 FVN, and all sites I've tried (inlcusing the Brembo site) come up with three options. :'(

Site should give the pad dimensions...
Don’t suppose the calipers include old pads :-\

And for a comparison to the standard calliper fitted to a 260BHP car, and the new;

Go to uksaabs forum, and put up a thread in relevant section, ask for GM numbers etc, somebody will help, not as quickly as here on OOF, with the added pishtake and rudeness... ;D :D
They do seem very proper and correct on uksaabs, not a unruly mob of reprobates like here on OOF.

So, what brand to go for (discs and pads)?
Are Brembo really as shite as everyone says? Is BluePoint the 'official' supplier for Vx nowadays, and are they any good?
Ideally, with the Discs, I'd like them to be painted/coated in the hub and vanes area as not to oxidise quickly.
Must suit quite fast road. Again, don't mind paying extra for good results.
And BG, I'm on UKS, and as great a forum it is, I find answers here for things not quite Saab specific to be better. :y

See if you can find some GM pads n Discs on ebay,. I've got to see what size discs of got, as it's getting time for some pads on mine.

If you haven't come across them, Neo Brothers are a Saab parts specialist. They have a pagid brake kit for a 2.8 V6 9-3 aero for £119. That's for 2x discs and the pads. :y
EBC £140
Their own performance kit £190
