If anyone can help me source a brand new torque seal I'd be most grateful, please.

Part No: 96017189.

Ouch! £41.09 + delivery.

The GM 4L30-E transmission was used on contemporary BMW and Honda models amongst others. The seal should be available elsewhere for a lot less. EG this from the USA (https://globaltransmissionparts.com/4l30e-pump-overdrive-housing-seal-1989-2004-8-96017-189-0/).

Or here from Germany. (https://www.automatic-berger.de/GM-TH180-AR25-AR35-4L30E-Automatikgetriebe-O-Ring-Pumpe-zu-Gehaeuse-69-up_1)

Or try JPAT (https://jpat.co.uk/index.html). 01934-853956 info at jpat . co . uk Here's a link to the parts diagram for your autobox. (https://jpat.co.uk/uploads/1/0/3/5/103549764/03__gm1aa_3l30e_and_4l30e.pdf) Scroll down for 4L30-E (4L30E). Mention Omega Owners and you might get a discount.

Thank you, Enceladus; forgive this super slow reply. Good information which I'll keep in my back pocket. In the end, I actually sourced the part from Opel Riga.

Again - thank you.
