.....has been down and put her bedding in the washing machine. She talked to me, then she talked to me again, then she talked to me some more. I think she's back to normal. ;D

Did you listen to anything she said?

clearly you've never been married DG ;D
or you would know a wife's voice is like a car engine , you know it's running but ignore it and concentrate on the road ahead ;)
-
;D even I know that :P
If he listened then she is still ill, but if he was simply talked at, then everything is fine ;)
-
I listened to the bit where she said she'd be fine for work on Monday :)

She went for a short walk with the dog earlier and was shattered, now in bed having a rest. Poor girl will be back to 11 or 12 hour days next week dealing with entitled brats and parents.

I bet she can't wait... :D

Sounds like she may well not be ready for it. Have a talk with her, tell her to give it another couple of weeks. ;)

Fat chance. The whole of the education system will collapse if she doesn't go to work, apparently.

Get her to Google Post Viral Chronic Fatigue.
The worse thing she can do is try to run before her body is ready. My wife had flu, 3 times in the winter of 2005 and spring of 2006. And one day she couldn't actually get put of bed. It took her 3 hours to get washed and dressed. It took 10 years to get back to near normal. She's at about 70% of the pace she thought she shoukd work at. And occassionally has short relapses. Of 3 or 4 weeks.
Google Action for ME.
Steal her car keys and lock her in the loft.

She was a bit tired from walking the dog after 10 days in bed, I'm not mentioning chronic fatigue just yet.

See how she is when she gets back on Monday evening...

Was sorting some stuff upstairs and heard some kid having a meltdown on the pavement outside. Seems there was something wrong with his bike and he was screaming and shouting at his mum because it was obviously all her fault. After giving the bike a couple of hearty kicks he then pedalled off, still shouting and screaming at his mum. ;D

Probably best not to insist on her doing the hoovering for a day or so. Just be sure it is empty for her. ::)

She's all dressed up for Strictly now. Her and her mates watch it on the telly while WhatsApping their firkin heads off, taking pictures of their outfits and some of them getting pissed up.
Each to their own, I suppose.
Doggie, meanwhile, has taken to the cupboard under the stairs to escape the fireworks.
I might doze off ;D
