Title: Wifey's astra
Post by: STEMO on 24 April 2021, 18:07:43
..impressed me today, in a silly childish type of way. We had the air con on and the fans were blowing away. She received a phone call and, when she pressed answer, the fans turned themselves lower, thus decreasing the noise. The minute she hung up, they increased the speed again.
I'm quite easily impressed  ;D

So when you phone her the car shuts the AC off so it's guaranteed to be a hot and steamy call  :-*

I  have the ability (bluetooth) to do hands free ,mute the radio gram etc ,i just choose not to take calls while driving
my AC involves opening the window ,though i should fix the actual AC , but then it would snow for 6 months and i've took the winter tyres off now  :D

For a five year old car it looks pretty new. Only done 35,000 miles

And it's much redder than in that pic, not Vauxhall pink like some older models.

I would have to concur, even Tandy were better quality than the shite that is the JLR central locking motors.

Yes, but it's nothing to laugh about. And what relevance did you post have?

Your post with the picture reminded me of that VW ad where the father and son buy a low mileage Golf from the old lady (who thrashed the living daylights out of it) and it raised a chuckle.

You're obviously having a bad day, and if humour needs explaining, then it apparently isn't humour ???

Were you dropped on your head when you were a baby?  :-X

It would look better in an unusual shade of green. :)

Very tidy car that Ste. I'm impressed that vauxhall seemed to be one of the few companies whose cars get better looking with each generation, astra and insignia both being a case in point.

Most other companies seem to manage to make a car uglier with each passing generation. BMW/Mini and Toyota to name just two.
