Title: Covid - 2nd Jab
Post by: Mr Skrunts on 29 April 2021, 20:39:07
Got a phone call on 25th March so had 1st Jab on 26th March.

Understood the 2nd jab would be approx 12 weeks when I took the call.  After all the questions, I had 1st jab and then was told 2nd jab would be 9 weeks so that would be arround 27th May.

Got a phone call yesterday booking me in for the 4th May, asked why the jab was earlier and was told that they were learning about the virus all the time etc.

Next thing, jab brought forward so thats both jabs complete for me.  Also told on the phone yesterday the safe period to collect "my birthday kisses" was 3 weeks :-*, but the nurse today said 2 weeks was fine. :y

Had my first one on Tuesday at the local surgery an hour after booking it.

They must have put the chip in sideways as my arm still aches :D

Apart from some fatigue and general discombulation, no other obvious side effects as yet.

Got my first yesterday , AZ .
Registered on Monday , they texted me on Tue to go yesterday . The facility was very impressive for Ireland .
Felt ok for the rest of the day but a little groggy today .
Told it will be 12 weeks until the second jab.

Just got my 1st this morning at the Excel Centre in Docklands.

Got there early, seen early, out early. Hardly anyone there but space for literally hundreds at a time.
