1914 BHP and enough torque to reverse the rotation of the Earth should make even a glorified milk float interesting..... :)

I got as far as two minutes in, and I didn't want to buy a tee shirt, so my attention span wavered.

I would be happy to own any electric car if I could afford one. I have free charging at work, and can plug it in from 5pm to 8am every time Im there.
Can use the Boxster and Omega for my non commute driving which is around 5000 miles per year.
The problem is the cost of the damn things. By the time they become affordable I will have either retired or be pushing up daisies. ::)

Don't worry, Albs, every problem has a solution. They'll cost no more than a second hand omega in a few years. ;D

Yes....when the battery is f*ucked and a new replacement will cost thousands. ::)

I wouldn't want to be the market for a 5 -7 year old electric car.......the cost of a new battery would probably be enough to sent it to the crusher. :-X

Exactly. :y

There's a lot more of them about now though.
This afternoon I briefly stopped at Sedgemore South Services on the M5 for a pee and a coffee, saw 3 or 4 go by and the charging points (all 4 of them...) were all occupied. :)
