Need a 'new' mobo. New as in new to me. Due to case and requirements, I don't have much of a choice brand new.
It must be Socket 478, have SATA, Firewire, SPD/IF audio, and specific AGP and PCI slot locations due to riser - basically, AGP needs to be slot 7 (ie in line with the mounting hole next to rear panel, and a PCI slot next to it in slot 6.
Intel D865PERLK is the ideal board.
Anyone got something suitable they want to sell me?

Intel D845PEBT2 would also suffice...

;D ;D ;D ;D Is that texting or martian or something

I have a spare socket A board. No good to you though.

Try Ebay but DON'T go into the one showing RAM as it is a corrupt page

Was great fun, very therapeutic. This mobo was actually brand new and less than a day old but it pissed us off too much, even the boss joined in:

Phew, it was a Via chipset board. Smashing it was the only sane thing to do....
-
lol yep. VIA don't make very good chips. Remember their Cyrix M CPU's? Good if you wanted your computer to double up as a radiator.

probably unfair on via, as they bought Cyrix to obtain other technology. Cyrix processors were always rubbish...
