Dont know the reasons behind what he said, but up to now Ive rarely heard anyone with a worse case of Verbal Dysentery than Mr Waters, when it comes to political & social comment.
He really is full of crap.
He was superb in concert when I saw him at the O2 about 15 years ago, but I watched one of his recent concerts on SKY arts and it reminded me of a 1930,s political rally in Germany, apart from the fact the rhetoric the assembled mass were reacting to like sheep, was all very left wing, and extremely anti Israeli.
Great musician, but a very muddled mind, and an ego the size of a planet.

The crux of it is that Faceachebook wanted to use one of his songs as a branding theme for Instagram as part of Zuckerbergs mission for global media domination.

Roger very, not so, politely declined. Which is where the video comes in. ;)

People of his calibre are rarely untroubled. What is significant here, is his very public stand against Faceachebook, in that there are very few people with a voice publically speaking out against Faceachebook etc...

This is being repeated on SKY arts at 9pm tonight. Worth a watch for some good music, and , what I found to be a slightly sinister atmosphere.

I'm a total Floyd and Waters fan, but by God,  he is very dark. Also, watch the Pulse tour showing afterwards. Was there when it was filmed. No Waters mind you.

Im also a Floyd fan. Dark side might just be my favourite album ever.
Waters and his ego attempted to ruin the band, and he tried to gave them legally banned from carrying on without him, which says a lot about the bloke.
As I mentioned earlier, saw him at the O2 London almost 15 years ago, and it was one of the best gigs Ive ever been to.
Politically though, he hasnt really moved forward from the lower 6th debating society.

Yep, I think, whilst "The Wall" was an awesome piece of work, Waters had an inability to move on to anything fresh from then on.

Leaving was the best thing he could have done for them after that.
