I certainly wore the 4 button baggies when I was about 18 or 19.I also wore a lot of leather bomber jackets with Levi Jeans.
Also wore denim jackets we all called originals which never ever got washed. .....And Doc martins on occasion as did eveyone. :y :y

For my sins I was punk rocker, still am to point. Wore drain pipes bum flaps and leather biker jacket occasional bondadge trousers all written on in pen.
Still today wear skin tight jeans and T shirts all the time. Sad innit.

I would only wear levi jeans (never Wrangler). When these started to show signs of wear they would be patched with cloth beer mats . Carling , carlsberg etc etc. :y :y

styles changed a lot in the 80's, i seem to change with them...
early 80's was baggy jeans with baggy sweatshirt tops hitec basket ball boots and white socks...
by the late 80's the baggies had gone and it was chino's and shirts with button down collars

what did I wear in my twenties? I currently wear Plainish jeans and short sleeve button-up shirts. sometimes tshirts. No logos, minimal patterns. We'll see if that changes over the next 9 1/2 years of my twenties.... :D
I also like very snappy suits :) Right now im at my desk at work with a rather nice darkgrey 3 button suit and a black and white stripey shirt... I look good.... :D

Levi's and Doc Martens I have worn since the late 60's and I'm 52 now I still wear them, the shoes now though not the boots.
My two lads of 19 & 21 only ever wear blue Levi's, never any of those designer kind of jeans, at least I taught them something worth knowing.

'Tie and Dye' T shirts.
Purple 'Loon' pants with huge flared bottoms trimmed in mauve leather
to stop them fraying on the ground.
White shoes with huge black platform soles and heels.
God! I must have looked like a right pr@t. ;D

why not be happy with what we love?? f$%*k other people what they think about what i wear or punk wear...
i was into death metal and black metal since 14
and i love it ... evey year i make my style better that last year
not trun into normal or feel shame about it ..((.i have to say i always respect other people's life style as long as they respect mine))
im so glad i found myself from very young age and i did not follow people.

Jeans & t-shirts.
The width of the legs comes and goes. The t-shirt gets tucked in - or not. The price of it always goes up.
And it gets washed a lot more often than it did.
Come to that, so do I. :)

Just about sums it up for me. No need for tarty clothes on blokes. Clean & tidy is enough & that's pushing it for a scruff like me. Better things to spend my hard earned on. I don't own a single item of "tom" either, blokes should'nt wear it, you only look like Delboy.
Agree with 501's & love the Mk2 'Tina avatar!!! :y

Mainly Number eights and steaming boots. On duty.

I seem to remember in my Mid Twenties, well we called them Alien Shirts!, they were black and white large square cotten shirts, that looked as though they were made out an Italian resterant table cloth.
Every one was wearing them, not me thou, well not untill I come accross on that was Blue and Grey. Just love being different!

Doublet and hose...

I was into heavy metal in my twenties and wore jeans, trainers and various black t-shirts with bands names on. Fave band was and still is ZZ Top.

Much the same -- 'cept I let mine fray !!!! I had a pair that were black down the back and ---- erm --- salmon down the front with contrasting patch pockets :o
I found an old pair of platforms in the attic a while back -- Lord knows how I used to be able to walk in them cos that skill has long gone !!!

We were into cheesecloth shirts -- course we had warmer summers then too !!

This is a first for me!!
To witness a group of men extensively discussing what clothes and general fashion they once wore / do with each other is really a sign of the times with you all obviously touching your feminine side! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;)
How enlightened!! :D :y :y
-
Loonpants, as advertised in the back pages of NME.
Cheesecloth shirts.
Long hair - which took a natural curl, without perming, I'll have you know.... 8-)
Jesus sandals which became platforms which went back to jesus sandals, when I was abroad in the far east....
Now, jeans, polo shirt and trainers!!
