Hello guys, heater blower motor seems to have failed. It still works on every speed, but sound like bearings have failed. I'm keeping it on the lowest setting for now due to the droaning sound it makes.
Does anyone have part number for the blower motor? I need to buy a new one.
Thanks in advance

A temporary fix is to drip some oil onto the motor/fan shaft from the pollen filter/cabin intake.
The fan is visible with the pollen filter removed ;)
Also check and clean the scuttle/drains whilst you're there. The noise is a sign of moisture getting in there... :y

Yes , the motor can be seen from removed pollen filter area. Scuttle is clean. No leaves or other debris inside.

That's good. The fact the motor still spins on all speeds is also a positive thing. :y Normally they seize up and don't work at all or the controller (hedgehog) fails and you're stuck with only full speed.
It might take a couple of goes to drip enough oil onto the shaft to reach the bearings, but should be a quick fix :y

Ok, I'll try this fix first. Thanks :y

I found the best way to do that is to use the engine dipstick.
Its flexible and holds oil well on the end so makes it an easy way to get oil onto the motor shaft.Could of goes should free it up....and also no need to get any tools out :)

That's brilliant :D I might do this now while I'm at work
