Title: Aircon wiring Q
Post by: Doctor Gollum on 28 June 2021, 15:08:42
Got a head scratcher...

The BkWh wire that runs from the Climate panel to the pressure switch and onto a fan relay then into the engine ecu.

What polarity is it at the engine Ecu and if positive, what voltage?

It goes:

U28 - 15 X63 (climate panel)

4 X58 (plug under battery)

2S20 via low pressure switch, through high pressure switch and out 1S20

4 X30 (9 pin plug in relay box)

41 K61 (engine ecu)

Basically, the system looks to be self sufficient, like the fans, but I need to bypass the engine ecu.

There are two other wires involved, but they are both fed from  F15, so obviously ground out through the engine ecu.

Have established that it does indeed also ground out through the engine ecu.

Still not working, but have possibly ruled it down to either of the aircon sensors and/or charge quantity as all of the wiring is intact except for what might happen electronically within the engine ecu on the way to ground :-\
