No idea about the car but UY is a  Worcester reistration, I also seem to remember it being used by Vauxhall in quite a few brochures.

i sold that car approx 18 months ago to a gentleman fron w-s-m way
i purchased it from a chap in sutton coldfield  who got pissed off with it after having two cambelt failures in two weeks and the garage concerned, denying all responsibility.to be honest when i got it my intention was to break it FOR the gearbox, but when i saw it i decided to fix it instead and sell it on.i personally replaced the headgaskets and bent valves, and fitted a new complete cambelt kit at approx 50-55000 miles.when i sold it (at a lot less than the present owner is asking) i supplied receipts for a new recon gearbox approx £1400 new oil cooler, new cambelt kit,new headgaskets etc etc. as to why the gearbox was replaced,i was told that it did a lot of towing, pikey wagon apparently. anything else you want to know just ask.
