I sailed past a camera van this afternoon hidden in plain view amongst a load of parked cars and it could be that I was going a tad over the limit.... :-X :-\
Sigh. :(

Oh dear, not good. The 'hidden in plain view' made me smile. ;D

Have faith. Remember I got away with my last 38mph encounter. :y

You should be ok if you were sailing, I think they are only for road users👍🤣🤣

Well, if you can ride an electric scooter on the pavement, I can't see why you shouldn't be allowed to ride a land yacht on the road.
Tacking might be awkward though ::)

It was in your parish as well Rae, I was heading towards Llwynypia hospital from the Star roundabout at the bottom of Penrhys Hill.
Bleddy Welsh communists! >:( ::) :P

I`m convinced these boogers do about an hours work in the back :P & then stick their fit feet up for the rest of the shift
Twice in the last 6 months I`ve sailed past a camera van & heard jack.
First time was on my big Fazer & the second time at the end of July ; was in SWMBO`s new MX5 GT ;D. I seem to recall sailing conditions were very favourable on the day :y

They've always been very much awake and alert on the very very rare occasions that I've slipped over the limit. ::) ;D

Which doesn't happen any more, because, like me, you are a reformed character...

I'm trying, I really am. :) When I've got my grandchildren in the car I drive like a saint, always well within the speed limit and very defensively, because I'm aware that I'm solely responsible for their safety. So, if I can drive like this with the grandchildren in the car why can't I be like it all of the time. I'm seriously considering selling the Germans and buying a van, a VW or Transit Custom Kombi Sport or Ford Torneo Sport, to slow me down, but my lad reckons I'll then become the van driver that nobody wants to see in their rear view mirror. ;D

An old non turbo diesel Mercedes should do the job :y
Driving around the New Forest, every tit and there dog has a new VW Transporter.
Apparently, a swb low roof transit 'camper' is over £40k :o
