Had the grandkids for the weekend as their parents are in London for a few days , they wanted a Chinese last night so had a really good blowout for £52.00 & then woke up to an email from the lottery that I had won £96.00 for three numbers as it was a multiple rollover 😄

It's a few years since I had a multiple rollover :(

Not the first time you have found financial fortune. :y

£52 is a bit tight for a Chinese... We normally do that per heaf :D

Not sure I've every managed that in a Chinky. Did manage £30 a head in the Wimpy a couple of weeks back :D

Yes.....A £13 per head chinky chunk sounds more than generous.

Actually, about 10 years ago, me and bro, and the women had a sit down chinky in Oxford. That came out well over £200 even back then. But it was a full on blow out.
Fortunately, it was Bro's turn to pay ;D

Itst a consistently good restaurant, and that's for all the courses, trimmings, drink and coffees.
A percentage probably pays the immigration fines though :-X

Yes that's Lincolnshire for you , cheap as chips & an excellent meal hate being conned when it comes to food prices.

Yes several wins over the years, but unfortunately the big one has eluded me up to now , but as they say " you've got to be in it to win it".

Been in it since it started in 1994 spent between £6-£10 per week so let's average that at £8 x 52 equals £416 per annum X 27 equals £11,232 so I estimate I am about £7,000 in profit to date.

Wow that's not bad! :y
I used to buy a ticket every week, but stopped when they lengthened the odds and cut the amount of smaller prizes to fund a bigger jackpot. :(

I stopped doing lotto for the same reasons, I do the postcode lottery now. Started six months ago at £10 per month and have had three tenners back already.

Always been very lucky in raffles & competitions etc. Won about 3 holidays & a Ford Ka in a raffle in 2006 which was very fortunate for my daughter as her old Renault was very unreliable , so I gave it to her. I ran our syndicate at work for several years until I retired and we did quite well out of that ,mind we were gambling about £60 a month back then , me and a couple of mates still club together £6.00 a week now. SWMBO does the postcode lottery & has won a few tenners.

Never done any good on the horses, been dog racing once when Peterborough used to do it & ended up by £150..😄

I have never done the lottery, I reckon that one day I'll blow all the money I have saved on a trip to Vegas (or Monaco) where they wine and dine you as long as you keep playing, unlike queuing up in the local Coop for a ticket every week... ;)
I have won a fair few raffle prizes in my time, including 2 Silverstone GP paddock club tickets for a £20 investment, and once won 3 prizes in one charity raffle, having only bought 4 tickets!

I still laugh about the time the lottery had rolled over to 18 million, I got a lovely email to say that of the 5 lines i'd done I'd got 5 numbers and won £1800, I really laughed when i spotted I had the 6th number 2 lines down , no-one had won the jackpot either ....yeah I still really laugh at that one :o

Yes can sympathise with that , I got all six numbers in two lines one below the other £60 😟
