Have seen some of these on Safety courses, but some new beauties there! Wish i could find the multi-forklift one, though - takes some beating! Skruntie??
-
Is he welding the fuel tank? :-?
-
The Fork lift one is a good one . Must give this to my fork lift driving trainers. :D :o

Must say we pulled some stunts at work over the years, then I read some of the stuff TheBoys did working for BT. But I think they were all tame by the standards of some of these idiots.
The 2 that worry me are the forklift (above pictice -lifting annother forklift) and guy drilling above the pool.

Yep - no safety shoes! What was he thinking.... At least he's got his eye protection..
-
All brilliant of non-H&S practice, which has added to those I have witnessed in my time engaged in company H&S training. ;D ;)
....and some reckon we do not require H&S legislation?!! :o :o :o :o :o ;)
-
Made me feel very worried
-
All very funny /crazy. ;D ;D ;D :y

I think we do go a little too far with 'efl 'n' safety in general.
Obviously in all the above cases Common Sense has completely gone out of the window. ::) :y :y

I think this country suffers by following the US.
Now that we have solicitors offering no win/no fee and we claim costs from your works in case of an accident etc then I think they have become over cautious in the work place to avoid such claims.

In many cases, H&S just defines Common Sense. Sometimes it goes mad, normally as a knee-jerk reaction to something no-one thought of before.
One i still can't figure out is wearing a hard had when working at height. If you fall, it'll come off anyway - so whats the point there?

How about the French requirement to wear a Hi-Viz vest while maroroned on the hard shoulder (or whar ever the French might call it ;)) A hi-viz vest isn't going to stop the car whose driver has fallen asleep.

H&S not nearly as evolved in the US!
