No sooner had the General put the phone down, he convened a meeting with top US commanders to remind them that the procedures for launching a nuclear strike called for his involvement, and could not simply be ordered by the President.

He had no business ringing anyone in a Foreign government, certainly he didn't, and still doesn't have the authority to do what he did.

Can't see it mattering to be honest. Biden will slowly deteriorate, putting Harris in charge, and the Republican Party won't nominate Trump again. New brooms next time round, I hope.
Then again, as I said earlier, the American public might be stupid enough for Trump II.

As a military power, the USA is probably just about the strongest at the moment, that won't last. Economically and socially, they're a mess and I think they will become less important in the world order in years to come.
Whether you like what that general said in the YouTube clip or not, that is the direction the western world is heading. A bunch of mixed up freaks.
