Title: Seen my first Xmas TV advert !

 1st of October & the first Christmas advert on the TV (studio cards & gifts) I thought it was cancelled this year..😄

There were advent calendars on sale when we bought postcards on Thursday. That was in Pickering, so I suppose they could have been a sign of traditional Yorkshire meanness and hadn't been stored since last year.


I have so far resisted the temptation to buy mince pies.

its only just over 80 days away ;)

And as Xmas is consumer retail's big earner, that has to keep them afloat until the next xmas, they need to start 3 months before the event ;)

In the retail trade our Christmas started in May when we attended the Christmas Product Trade Shows, placing 100's of thousands of pounds of orders, then by the end of August we were starting to display the merchandise by then delivered.  We would now be placing our Easter product orders with the manufacturers!

So the years went by VERY quickly indeed!! ;D ;D ;)

 Festive noggin on Christmas eve followed by the same on Christmas day.......then it is over for another year.

If TB has any decency in his soul he will not torture us with the OOF Xmas smile demons this year. :)
