So rear arcs to be done in January. Corroded also in the rear end of the arc so most propably also behind the rear bumper. Do we have "How to" for the bumper removal. Can I do it in floor level. I would like to do some prework for the welder like towbar & bumper, washing the car etc.

Two plastic rivets underneath. 2 torx screws either side in the wheel arch and, iirc, 6 screws behind the little caps where the boot lid covers the bumper. Should fall off.
Where fitted unplug the parking sensors... Loom can also be unplugged at the control box and removed with the bumper, but matters not either way...
Saloon also has the number plate light to unplug as it falls off.
Estates identical but there is a trim strip either side. This is completely separate to the bumper, but for the purpose of your exercise, they will need removing... A single torx screw in the wheel arch and they pull of. Be careful though as the clips are no longer available and snap if you look at them.

Thanks DG, found finally this, too.

I did not see that first as there were:
'Remove your front bumper'
and then a bit later
'Rear Bumper Removal'
Looks easy enough. Perhaps towbar has to be removed first.

Towbar can stay, unless some retard mounted it through the bumper ;)
