So why is their site advertising it is available, as per the link? ??? ???
Very odd. I would try and order it on that link and see what happens. ;)
Yes there are some ridiculously priced ones on eBay, that personally I wouldn't touch ;)
No knowledge of YOU.S

Anyway, I suspect DG will be onto this in due course and give you his contacts in the USA where GM products for our Omega's are available under the American car badges out there. ;)

The Internet is freely available to all :-X

I've ordered several times from them - mainly Carlton parts. Sometimes the 'In Stock' parts actually arrive. But more often than not they don't. Seems that they may have had the stuff in stock once - say 10 years ago - but not now and they don't bother updating the website.

Ah, that would explain it. I have noted in the recent past that they have a not so good reputation on here :(

Maybe, but some need extra help to find what they are seeking. ;)

No, most people have to pay for it.
-
Oh, yes :-X

Companies list stuff as available/in stock on the basis that they can get it from somewhere else and drop ship it to the unaware customer. They do this because it makes them look good, and even if it costs them to do it, you'll think that they're wonderful and when you return for something they actually carry, they will get their money back and some.
Unfortunately that is how most online stores operate. Decent ones are easily identified with a phone call as they actually exist and are geared up to serve people that call/visit.

If you can't find a new expansion tank, I have a good used one if any use...? May need a good swill out, but ok otherwise.

I am trying to get the pipe clip, original I expect, off the large hose on the expansion tank, my tool doesnt seem to make any movement. The small clips move OK. What am I missing?
-
Vice grips?
Once the clip is loose, move it off the spigot and twist the hose to free it from the spigot ;)
-
If Jonny can't help, I've got one :y

Use two small mole grips to pull the clamp apart.
Install it firmly in the bin.
Replace with a proper clamp.
