Turn the steering to full left lock, remove three screws on the nearside inner wing liner, pull the inner wing liner back. Remove the pump from the washer reservoir, there should be a rubber insert with a filter in the reservoir (or it may be attached to the pump when you remove it) clean the filter, whilst the pump is out of the reservoir, flush it out with warm water.

Thanks.
This seems the easy option.
