Need a quick fix for the car.
Nearside driveshaft is rattling and clicking away like a person of dubious parentage.
This is the side that the shocker top sheared off last summer so not surprised really.
I have a 3.7 diff and 2 decent shafts on the breaker but due to the amount of crap around the car, only the offside shaft is easily accessible.
Are these shafts sided ?
In other words, will offside fit nearside ?
TIA :)

Believe they're the same. Diff ratio shouldn't matter ;)

Just ordered a bearing.
Snowing now so 'dangle berries' to laying on mud to remove the shafts ;D
Do these shafts come out easy ?
Off to look at a CR-V tomorrow morning

I agree. Almost certain they are the same. :y

Indeed, I was just referring to the drive shaft ;)
If you're doing the wheel bearing, then yes you need to undo the big nut :D Once you've removed the drive shaft...

They are different length, was hoping the short side would swop over on my hot rod but thats too long as well (mutters under breath)

They're thick enough to be easily modified. Too long is much better than too short ::)
